Using George Bataille’s obscene work as a starting point, the original minor characters – the eye and the vagina – are taking the lead in this short stop-motion-video, dancing and engaging into a surprising Pas-de-deux to the sound of an old german song of Paul Godwin’s Jazz-Symphonians with singer Robert Koppel from 1910: “Wer weiß, ob deine Augen lügen” (“Who knows if your eyes are lying”).
